Night Market is located 19th street, down Mahabandula Road, Latha Township in Yangon. It was formally established by the British colonials in the 18th century. It is also called the china town locals as tayoke tan, means a place which is home to Chinese. A diverse group of overseas Chinese and descent in Myanmar can trace their roots back to the southern Chinese provinces of Guangdong, Yunnan and Fujian. It is easy to find and looks like an ordinary street in the day time but in the evening round about 5 pm, it starts to alive. The whole street is with food stalls, restaurants, all kinds of fruits and vegetables sellers, clothes, vendors, traditional dim sum, barbecue stalls, bar and café shop are a hit among backpackers. Chinatown is the main night life destination for all travelers to and residents of Yangon. Normally, it starts to alive at 6 :00 pm to till 11:30 pm.

National Races House is located near Thanlyin bridge, Taketa township in Yangon. National races village was constructed by Ministry of Progress of Border Areas and National Races on December 2002. It is one of the attractive places in Yangon for both of the locals and foreigners. Myanmar has 135 tribes. It has seven states and seven regions such as Kachin, Kaya, Kayin, Chin, Myanmar, Mon, Rakhine, Shan, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Sagaing, Magway, Ayeyarwady and Thaninthary. We can see the representing the different states of the country such as different languages, traditional costumes, habitual, home-style, household goods and traditional foods. We also study the significant places and buildings in one place. National Races House is one of the places of replica of many famous cultural sites and get the sense of Union Spirit. Great scenery from Viewing Tower is an interesting place in the park for photo lovers. Bicycles and buggy are easy to rent to visit in the park. In special weekends, the traditional dances are performed for visitors in the Union Hall of park. It opens daily 9:00 am to 5:30 pm and closed on government holidays.

Gems Museum is located No.66, Kabar Aya Pagoda Road, Mayan gone Township, Yangon. It is four-story building and near Kabar Aye Pagoda. It displays very famous precious stones of Myanmar such as rubies, jades, sapphires and pearls. It can also call house of the Gems Mart. The jewelry shops are located on the first and second floors, while the museum is on the third floor. These three floors of the Gems Mart present the whole range of Myanmar rubies, sapphires, period and a variety of assorted colored stones, jades, pearls in lots or embedded in exquisite jewelries, gold wares, silverwares and jade figurines. It consists of 82 stores on three floors, and sells high-quality raw and finished gem products, offering rubies, sapphires, pearls, jades and more. It will offer the gem information’s and easy way to learn about the various types of minerals and gems found in Myanmar as well as how to grade stones for quality. Before the opening of Gems Mart, the Bogyoke market in Yangon was the only place to verify precious stones. The gems fair and auction held twice a year in March and October. Many jewel dealers from all over the world come here at that time. It opens daily from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm except Monday and government holidays.
